“That Moment”
It’s that moment when you see them again, unexpectedly, out of the blue, unprepared. When you finally see the one you’ve loved, but no you can’t be together, besides it never worked out. But when you see them again, your heart skips a beat, you have no idea what to say, or what to do completely dazed and confused. Maybe I’m just clingy, or maybe she was special, a one-of-a-kind. It’s been so long and you still can’t get over them.

and just like the movies, on a nearby tree
I carve a heart with our names in it
and we leave in blissful content

and I love her for that
